Go to your bank and discuss a cash advance loan with them. In emergencies, often a bank is more understanding than you might think .
Sometimes the Salvation Army will pull through as well,if you have one in your area.
Take time to look into your community for support, but some people don’t have all the options that come with an understanding community. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Payday-…

$2,000 is a small loan by todays standards. Banks will not lend a small amount like that for 3 years. I agree with Hippos response, save for it your self………if you are afraid that you would spend it before it is saved, give it to your mom or somebody trustworthy to hang onto it for you with the rule “DO NOT GIVE IT TO ME UNTIL I REACH MY GOAL”. Or better yet, make this deposit to a money market account, it is the same as a savings, but only allows you about 3 withdrawls in a year and the interest is higher than a regular savings (between 3-4 percent), so you make money! Besides, the interest on a loan will add up over a 1-3 year period.

Amazing… none of the blood suckers trying to entice you into their money making schemes have posted yet.
Anyway… I agree with everybody else around here.
With two jobs you should be able to put something into savings and if you don’t have the discipline then ask your bank to transfer a set amount automatically once a month. Time this date with a day when you can be sure to have plenty of cash in your checking account.
And lock yourself out of this savings account mentally.
Credit Union are a good choice too. But you have to have an account with them for a while before you can apply for a loan with them.

Check to see if you are eligible to join a credit union. They typically have better interest rates checking/saving accounts and loans/credit cards. If you owe less than what your car is worth, it can be used as collateral and might make you qualify for a decent interest rate.
The best bet is to look for ways to cut back spending. See if you can get a copy of MSN Money or Quicken to track income and expenses. An easy alternative without the bells and whistles is to use a spreasheet such as Excel or Open Office.

Many lenders, banks in particular, deal in any sort of secured loan other than second mortgages. Other institutions deal almost exclusively in secured loans. Finance companies that deal in secured loans can be found in your phone book, newspaper, and increasingly, online.Shop around and compare interest rates loans and the terms of repayment with several different lenders. You’ll find many internet sites that let you request a loan rate quote from multiple lenders at once. You may find bad credit loans here,

Once you’ve submitted a request for a loan quote, you’ll be contacted by representatives from several companies and can get a good idea of what each can offer you in terms of interest and other finance charges and fees choose the best one for your needs and apply for the loan.If possible try and avoid taking out secured loans. If the amount you need to borrow is small or you have good enough credit to borrow without collateral, then do so.

if you got two jobs just save the money yourself, it couldnt take more than a coupla months to save up 2 grand and then you would have it interest free.
